ONLINE DUELS
PLANNED
Direct competition against another player. Free online matches are a later development stage, after the local training build has been tested.

Two hover pods. One arena. Find your angle.
BOOST DUEL is a browser arena game in development. Two hover pods compete through movement, positioning and a directional boost. Push the rival out of the ring. Play the free training build against a clearly labelled bot now; online duels follow later.
Training first. Online duels next.
HOW BOOST DUEL IS DESIGNED TO PLAY
A few inputs. A duel shaped by movement, positioning and timing.
Find your position.
Watch your rival.
Choose your moment.
Move with WASD or the arrow keys and use Space to boost. The planned challenge is choosing when to commit: a missed attack creates an opening, while a better angle can turn defence into a counter. Both pods are designed to start with the same competitive stats.

GAME DESIGN CONCEPT
Time your boost. Find the counter.
A missed boost creates an opening. A better angle puts your rival under pressure. The design focuses on readable movement and decisions that players can learn through play.

PLANNED MATCH RULES
2 ROUND WINS
4 ROUNDS MAX
25s ROUND LIMIT
The first player to reach two round wins takes the match. A match has a maximum of four rounds, including draws, with up to 25 seconds per active round. If neither player reaches two wins, the match ends in a draw. A 1–0 score after four rounds is therefore still a drawn match.
Shared starting stats. Different colours.
Sculpted ceramic shells, dark canopies and bright ring thrusters give BOOST DUEL its identity. Aqua meets coral on an arena above the water. Future cosmetic options are intended to preserve equal competitive stats.

FUTURE OPTION
Equal stakes. Clear fees. Defined outcomes.
A later mode could let both players commit the same SOL amount to a match. Stakes, the total pool, any fee and the possible payout would be shown before play. Release depends on tested settlement and an appropriate operating model.
SOL stakes are not available yet.

BOOST DUEL now has a playable training build alongside its game concept and visual identity. Practice against a bot today. Free human-versus-human matches are the next ambition. Future revenue options include a separately reviewed SOL mode, cosmetic sales and brand licensing. These remain development options.
Current stage: playable browser training against a bot; online multiplayer is planned.
Potential funding would support the next verifiable development milestone. Funding needs, investment terms and rights have not been defined.

PUBLIC WORKING DRAFT · VERSION 0.3
This draft describes the intended product and development sequence. Features and business models remain planned unless explicitly identified as prepared.
BOOST DUEL is a browser arena game concept built around two hover pods, a compact arena above water and a directional boost. The current materials include the game concept, an implementation brief and visual mockups. A tested playable release, online multiplayer, users and revenue have not been confirmed at this project stage. The next milestone is a working local training build.
Players move, read an opponent’s position and choose when to boost. The aim is to push the opposing pod beyond the arena boundary. Both pods are intended to have the same competitive stats; colour and future cosmetics should not change their performance. Playtests will evaluate whether control, feedback and understandable outcomes create a reason to return.
The first player to reach two round wins takes the match. A match has a maximum of four rounds, including drawn rounds, and each active round lasts up to 25 seconds. A round ends in a draw if both pods remain in bounds when time expires, or if their exits cannot be distinguished within the defined simulation tolerance. If neither player reaches two wins after four rounds, the entire match is a draw, including a score of 1–0. These rules will be tested in the prototype.
The first build is local training against an explicitly labelled bot. Free online matches between two people follow after the local game has been tested. A closed alpha will examine understanding, repeat play, stability and fair competition. A separate SOL test environment is a later stage. Any paid pilot depends on the results of technical, security and operating reviews.
The planned online design uses a server to calculate match outcomes from permitted player inputs. A later on-chain settlement process would consume an authorised result; it would not independently observe the game. Correct results therefore still depend on the match system. Replays can support review and debugging but do not, by themselves, make competition trustless.
Both participants would confirm the same SOL stake for a defined match. Together, the stakes form the match pool. The possible payout, any platform fee and the player’s own stake must be clearly distinguished before commitment. The fee rate has not been decided. Draws, incomplete funding, interruptions, refunds and duplicate-payment prevention require explicit rules and testing. This website accepts no stakes or deposits.
An additional BOOST DUEL token is not required for the proposed SOL model and has not been approved. Investment structure, valuation, funding needs and investor rights have not been defined. This draft offers no token allocation, investment subscription, entitlement to platform fees or promised return.
Possible future revenue sources include a separately reviewed stake mode, cosmetic sales and B2B licensing. None is presented as an operating revenue stream. A white-label pilot could adapt visual identity for a community or brand, with a defined scope and operating responsibilities. Availability and prices have not been confirmed. These options depend on a stable product and demonstrated demand.
The project must test readable contacts and ring-outs, reliable match results, connection handling and resistance to unfair automation. Human online play also needs enough available opponents to support useful matchmaking. A future SOL mode adds settlement, security and operating questions. Unresolved material issues may prevent that mode from progressing.
The immediate objective is a playable local build with documented checks and actual gameplay footage. Free human-versus-human matches would then test whether players understand results and choose to return. Funding discussions should be tied to the next verifiable milestone, using a budget based on actual work and evidence. Future updates should distinguish planned work, implemented functions and tested results.
Follow future test plans.
